Biography

O’Shecia Y. S. Wynn was born in Augusta, GA on January 26, 1976 and was raised in Lincolnton, GA. She is the eldest child of Gussie Norman and W. T. Williams. She developed her love for writing poetry during her early teen years. She graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1994.

While raising three children, She graduated from Augusta Technical College with an Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy. As the years went by, she faced many challenges. In this
time, she wrote poetry to express her innermost feelings.

 

When not working, O’Shecia enjoys doing things to impact the community. She founded a women empowerment organization named Women in Effect. She enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, and going on trips. She currently resides in Augusta, Ga.​
